Emotional Maturity: The Key to Savoring Life in its Fullness Facilitated by Sahra Aschenbach and Mary Jane Ihasz September 13th, in Hinesburg |
|||||
“What has not been properly assimilated in an emotional experience…will constantly be reactivated by present experiences."(# 89) What is the difference between “emotional reactions” and “feeling responses”? The Pathwork Guide offers a step by step process for creating a fully feeling self that is alive in love and fulfillment. As we explore the origins of our negative emotional reactions to life, self and other, we create an opportunity to discover and embrace the “hurt child” within. Bringing awareness to our immature consciousness brings destructiveness, misconceptions and fears to the surface to be examined and released. As we explore the possibility of experiencing genuine feeling responses in our present day reality we find the meaning of true emotional maturity and the key to fulfillment in our life.
