Pathwork Vermont Programs 2007-2008

The Pathwork is a powerful and expansive discipline of spiritual development, which recognizes the existence of several levels of consciousness and the importance of progressing through all the levels of personal and spiritual transformation to awaken the greater consciousness dwelling within each human being. The Pathwork integrates and goes beyond psychotherapies and religions. The Pathwork works with consciousness and energy, prayer and meditation, teaching conceptually and experientially.

The Pathwork Programs offer us principles and practices, concepts and methods, which show us how to release that which stands in the way of our unfoldment as conscious human beings. It is a process of purification and transformation, a path of honesty and self-responsibility.

Who Should Attend

Mature individuals who are interested in learning more about the Pathwork (www.pathwork.org) and want to experience the application of Pathwork concepts and practices in a community of other spiritual seekers.  If you are not familiar with the Pathwork or have not worked with a Pathwork teacher or helper, please contact Sahra Aschenbach, Program Director, at sahra@gmavt.net for an intake interview.

This program is a four-year in depth program of working with the Pathwork lectures, which form the core of this spiritual path. While each year is complete in itself, most of our students choose to continue the length of the program.

This program offers the opportunity to:

  • Discover the causes of our present unhappiness, dissatisfaction and unfulfillment;
  • Develop the courage to confront and change our inner selves so that our outer lives may be filled with more love and joy;
  • Open our hearts to our Higher Self- the source of love, wisdom, and positive power that lives at the very core of our being;
  • Become part of a community of people who are committed to conscious evolution within ourselves and in the world, integrity in our personal work, and honesty and respect in our work with each other.

Purification, Transformation, Transcendence: Pathwork From The Unitive State Of Consciousness

Helpership Development Program is a four-year in depth program for students who wish to learn the consciousness and skills of helping, and teaching the Pathwork. This program is open to mature students who have made a personal commitment to the Pathwork as their spiritual path and who feel the call to serve as Helpers and Teachers of the Pathwork.

The focus is:

  • A Journey to Self (year I), where students work with the lectures as a guide for the journey inward. Classes include conceptual and experiential work, energy and movement, meditation and prayer to develop Helpership Consciousness.
  • A Year of Silence (year II) invites students to dive deeply within to discover the essence of their being.
  • Developing Skills give students opportunities to work with practice partners (year III) and with workers, in supervised sessions (year IV).

Following graduation from the Helpership Development Program, students are required to complete one year of apprenticeship and one year of assistantship before stepping into full Helpership.
