Exploring Needs

A Four Class Lecture Study Series – March and April, 2010

Location: Montpelier, Tuesday Evenings from 6 – 9 pm.

Dates: March 2, March 9, April 6, April 13.

Exploring unmet childhood needs is one of the main avenues into the Guide material, channeled by Eva Pierrakos over a period of 22 years. In this series we will consider the role of childhood in the Pathwork, and how childhood needs can continue to affect our strategies for happiness as adults. We’ll delve into the challenge and promise of each lecture:

March 2 – PWL #58 The Desire for Happiness and the Desire for Unhappiness

March 9 – PWL #118 Duality Through Illusion - Transference
April 6 – PWL #192 Real and False Needs and Their Relationship to Man’s State of Consciousness
April 13 – PWL #93 Main Image, Repressed Needs and Defenses Linked

Registration for the series must be made in advance. The classes are three hours each, with a fee of $100 for the series. A minimum of four students is necessary for the class to go forward.
This series is offered by Anne Connell. Anne is currently a teaching apprentice with teacher Ingrid Schirrholz in the Pathwork Vermont Helpership Development Program, an advanced four-year immersion in the Pathwork Guide teaching. She has been studying the Guide lectures for 15 years, completing Pathwork certification and the Helpership Development Program.
